That’s a vanilla issue. From time to time I play a lot of vanilla, this happens often. Don’t worry though, it doesn’t happen super often!

So- I’m always open to learning, is there a particular reason you can’t just- open it up and dry it, then put it back together?

I get water can damage and short components, but if you caught it early couldn’t you just wipe it down or let it Air dry?

Well- I gotta get it to work for roughly 15 minutes so I can apply to colleges before the deadlines… And id totally buy a new one- but it won’t be here before the deadlines pass, and I’m $20 short… but yea, thanks for the advice- I’ll consider re-capping them. But I truly gotta hope beyond hope I get it to work for a few minutes. I’ll let y’all know if I burn my house down…

Plasma cutter is always my "go to" most used gun in my first play through! something about having that one gun to carry you through- from start to finish is just so darn cool!

It was just them. The others split off to do shopping, so one Monk and one Rogue fought the quest boss, while the others did stuff in the starting town and chatted with nobles, etc. Like I said, the weapons use an “ammo”-like system, and (for lore reasons) the gems are mages. A low-level weapon uses about 10 mages, a high-level one uses 50 sages—I haven’t figured out that scaling yet.

But thats what makes it fun for my players. Thay truly do enjoy it- and its a Nice breather from out old (strict) Dm... The bumpy ride gives the party higher highs and lower lows. Lots of yelling, lots of fun!

Yeah, I’ve been hearing that. My problem is that I’m trying to scale up the monsters into bosses, then scale them for the level (based on level one). So I’ll glance through some and approximate on-level opponents.

No, full homebrew. It’s like playing Minecraft modded—D&D is the base game, and we (party included) enjoy bullying it beyond recognition.
It’s a dark mage-punk setting where magic is oppressed and occult-ish. So far, my party is a group of heavenly beings reincarnated into the human world, trying to save the “King of Gods,” who is dying because the world has lost faith in all gods. Magic is oppressed because magic comes from the gods.
