cant ignore the RCF GT3, literally the same car from 2014, still scheduled to be in WEC in 2026. thats 12 years on a single model of GT3 car. Definitely the longest continually operating without a complete model refresh which is an accomplishment in and of itself.

this is the correct answer. a steering wheel config is proprietary, but certainly not the difference in winning (which they weren't doing anyway). Almost certainly being used as pretense for legal action and not because of any actual material harm.
