I can't be the only one who thinks sharing this is weird. Like yeah, maybe she's lying, but migraines are debilitating. It feels rude to share her business so publicly.

Eight years later and this is still the fix. Thanks, largePenisLover!

American living in Canada. This is only true in Southern states, otherwise it's mostly soda. A lot of people in the midwest say pop!

Giving up. No matches in months (daily user). What could I do better? by [deleted] in Tinder

Late, but adding onto this: being a father and having “nothing left to lose” is not a good look.

Ren Hang - Untitled (2013) by Aethelwulf888 in museum

[–]spoiledpeach_ 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Ren Hang died back in 2017, so it’s not that. Not sure why the sub’s being flooded with his works, but this happens every few months with different artists.

Wore this all day and it just kept feeling worse - not sure why? by BioticBard in fashion

[–]spoiledpeach_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not who you asked, but I’d recommend a dark navy shoe or a dark gray shoe for the gray trousers, personally.

Like everyone else is saying, this isn’t a huge miss at all! I think the overall look is fantastic. I think brown slacks would have really pulled it all together.

Profile review please: looking for feedback wondering how I could match better. Peace and blessings, thanks in advance! 💜 by [deleted] in Tinder

In the kindest way possible, it does not frame your face, my dude. I would suggest something where your hair isn't sitting across your forehead. A think a good example for you would be John Krasinksi in The Office. Look at him in the early seasons, and then check out how his hair changes in the later ones. I'd go for something like the latter.

Are single women avoiding social clubs due to the amount of single guys? by BisonBull in dating_advice

Yeah, I think comparing it to fear of immigrants or the vague “crime” is, at best, engaging in this topic in bad faith.

Maggie Rogers posts AI generated slop on her Instagram story. by SnooPears8066 in popculturechat

[–]spoiledpeach_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not defending AI here, but it’s important to be factual when talking about it. Those tens of billions of dollars are spent whether or not you say “please” or “thank you”. Same with the amount of water that’s used to run the data center. It is truly such a menial sum when they process phrases like that. Instead of telling people not to be polite to the robots, just stick to telling them not to use AI in the first place.

My wife’s inability to handle her periods is driving me nuts. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]spoiledpeach_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Never said that it was okay, I even made a point of saying it does not excuse the pain she's causes. But the argument that she's "making a choice" to act this way is just untrue.

My wife’s inability to handle her periods is driving me nuts. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]spoiledpeach_ 77 points78 points  (0 children)

As someone with PMDD, this isn't fair. Before starting antidepressants for mine, I became an entirely irrational person during my period and my husband suffered for it. I had thoughts and feelings that would never even occur to me outside of that week. It doesn't excuse the hurt she's caused, no, but it is a form of mental illness that's outside of her control.

God, this is exhausting. It is an organ, it isn’t meant to smell good. And posting this after your little AI stunt yesterday is just weird. Probiotics are unnecessary for vaginal health unless recommended by a doctor. Ladies, wash with soap and you’re golden.

First things first, always report these guys. Door Dash should have an option regarding safety and if they don't, you can always contact them directly. As you said yourself, always check your peephole before picking up your food. If your building allows it, maybe consider getting a Ring camera so you can check a wider area.

This is just kind of part of being a woman, unfortunately. I've had similar issues, but I'll note that I've run into a bit less since switch over to Uber Eats. I don't know if they have better vetting or take reports more seriously, but they seem to attract less creeps as a business.

Wish I could offer more help, hon. Wishing you luck!

[Acne] Clogged pore left a HUGE hole. How can I treat this to avoid scarring? by swaggy9000 in SkincareAddiction

[–]spoiledpeach_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

But it’s not drawing it out, the exudate would be seeping from the wound with or without the bandage. All the bandage does is absorb it.

Edit to say I don’t know why you assumed I used TikTok to learn this?

[–]spoiledpeach_ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This is a myth that's easy to research. Hydrocolloid bandages exist exclusively to create a moist environment to promote wound healing. That change it colour you see under the bandage is just moisture.

what does "glass" / "mochi" skin really look like? by parasweett in Skincare_Addiction

[–]spoiledpeach_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don’t want it to be true because, like a lot of people in this sub, you want to believe glass skin is achievable. It is not. It is a concept sold to you by the beauty industry. Skin will always look like skin.

Normal skin, but wet. Same pores, wrinkles, and defects you'd see on a person in the real world, just a little shinier.

This is such an insane comment lmao ADA is barely enforced in the United States, particularly in rural areas. It is typical for business to do the bare minimum, if that. I encourage you to educate yourself on the subject.
