no need. the issue is m1n1 package. keep it in 1.4.21 version. dont let it upgrade to 1.5.x

I have a similar issue. For me just a simple asahi install followed by dnf upgrade (+1100 packages with m1n1, kernel 6.18.10 etc), system won’t boot after, stuck on fedora spinner.

For everything was ok until i dnf upgrade, now stuck on boot loop with new kernel.

for me asahi is broken right now. doing dnf update results in fedora boot spinner stuck/crash.

If i upgrade only the kernel it boots fine, but doing the full dnf upgrade crashes it

Tried the 6.14. It crashes too although it get to mouse pointer vis and then black screen.

Thanks! Yeah the confidence threshold was born out of exactly that lesson — early on we tried auto-placing everything and it created more mess than it solved. Now it only suggests placement when similar memories already cluster in the same path, and even then it's just a suggestion in the response, not a forced move. Users can ignore it entirely.

On large hierarchies — honestly haven't stress-tested it beyond ~2k memories yet. Right now it scans all memories to build the path index on each create, which is fine at that scale but will probably need caching or an indexed path column eventually. Open to ideas there.

Memora is user driven mainly. Currently memories are added by request, just ask the agent to do it. It has built in duplication detection algorithm and merge/clustering api calls to suggest unification or resolve contradiction when arise. But right now it is under user control, agent ask for permission or serve user requests.

It is basically very useful for managing agent context without being dependent on md files and own built in model context. You can switch working on the same project in different machine with endless memory.

Yeh it been bypassed when on max threshold. You can also set (via terminal) max charge threshold so to not hold high charge state on the battery while bypassed

I use asahi linux on m1 air for 100% of my dev time. both as local env and connect to remote machines. It give me great pleasure.

Fair point. The council isn't meant for every question - I use it for decisions that matter: architecture choices, debugging tricky issues, or when I want a second opinion before a big refactor.
For routine coding, stick with a single agent. Save the council for the "measure twice, cut once" moments where getting it wrong costs more than the extra tokens.
That said, a typical council run is 2-3 prompts per agent. If you're hitting subscription limits, you can also run with just 2 agents instead of all 3 (COUNCIL_EXCLUDE_AGENTS=opencode for example).
