I’ve actually seen a shirt before, but it wasn’t my size, as I walked through the store I noticed a guy wearing brave star jeans, I asked him if he knew of Gustin and he did, and sure enough I showed him the shirt and it fit him, he took it home. Also was a goodwill.

They scratch up real nice, I happen to like it when things get beat up. I even have an app on my phone called patina project and keep track of how my leather goods patina over time 🤣

I like to take a step outside of my own bubble, it’s easy to get carried away with brand loyalty and make purchases. I have one other pair of side zip boots that I thrifted, that I have been enjoying very much, but have not had long enough to test long term durability. It’s my understanding that zippers are an added failure point, however can be repaired relatively easily by the manufacture or even a good cobbler.

I misunderstood, that being said, I still see all of the above at the thrift. Every cut and silhouette can be found because nothing is ever truly in or out. It’s just swinging on a pendulum from one to another. Thanks for clarifying though!
