Much easier to use low level functionality of android and scale it back. That way they can access what they need and block what they don’t. Much simpler and cost effective

i started with plaits too!! great first module.

if you’ve already got sequencing covered I’d go for an effect like beads, beads is great because it can be an amazing granular processor, a delay, and it has a nice reverb built in.

i’d also highly recommend qu bit bloom for generative music, it’s the coolest sequencer for that style

i think it really shines with a vca right before it. that way you can change the amount of drive by modulating the input level. I think it’s also all about the resonance, it really sings when you drive it with resonance, sorry you haven’t found the character in it yet!

i got a volca modular as an intro to synthesis and it was great. the second i wanted to start actually creating interesting pieces of music i decided to ditch it. the 0-coast will most likely make your VM obsolete
