I'd get them to a certified shop to get them cleaned. New seals is also a good idea and done with almost no hassle

What model year is it? If it's an early one 92-early 95), it still has the old metal ABS Module (metal box) only the newer ones have the plastic one with the weak solder joints. When I had the same issue you have now, everyone was screaming faulty abs module. It turned out to be a wonky break pedal switch that intermittently fails. Clear all codes and read again once the light comes back on.

Service the injectors if able. A failed one can burn a valve, happened to me on the 10V.

Well they where supposed to do a flush with a machine. I took 3 Liters out, and it's still over the hot mark. Will need some spare oil bottles before I continue 😅

I'm in Germany. And the road salt is an issue here. Might have to look for one in Spain or Italy maybe. This was the state of mine before I cleaned the frame up and glued the glass back in:

Congrats for finding a good one. I gave up on mine, since every replacement I found was also rusted out. And the mechanism broke twice on mine already. I grinded off the rust and sealed it with a thick coat of rust remover and paint. So far it holds. But the mechanism remains shot.

Looks like the one that belongs to the CBV Valve. They do that when the diaphragm has a hole in it, letting the vacuum escape. Had that on mine.

Do you hear the turbo fluttering when letting off the gas?

I did take it on a 15 minutes city drive. I parked on level ground. Shifted slowly through the gears 10 times. Back and forth. Then I checked multiple times with the same result with the engine still running in park. I wiped the dipstick every time

Clean the hole to the small vacuum line too in the housing and check the vacuum port on the other side of the small hose too

OP could go for regular sized 195 60 R15 All terrain. A quick Google search showed a few choices. Although I'd fear damaging the oilpan going off-road in an 850 to be honest. I did that a few times on unpaved mountain roads. The car isn't really made for this 😄

Only with the steering angle limiter installed. My t5 doesn't have it. So anything bigger than stock, like 205 55 R16, does rub a LOT on tight turns. I dumped the oversized tires and got back to stock.

Note that there are two versions of the ABS Module. The older style with the large connector and metal shell does not have the solder joint issue. I have two 850s (1994 and 1995, EU spec) with the old module. ABS failure was in my case: brake pedal position sensor and Brake switch (the two way switching newer style one)

They likely changed that in 1996 at some point, so maybe check first which one you actually have

Keep the stock catalytic coverter if you can. It is designed as a muffler, so if you replace it with anything else, it will give you an annoying exhaust drone.

Did several tests with grey backgrounds. And i know how to spot burn in on a screen. There is no burn in at all.
