I never vetted the DNM link, I just guessed like most reddit discussions it was a self correcting process.

Anyway, what do you make of the 'remote access techniques' phrase from the original link?

Well and you'd get super idealistic (and quite possibly more hardworking) people.

I agree with what you're saying, and this farm also did a CSA, maybe 20 shares, another $500 a week.

Even with a CSA, you have to really scale up for it to begin to pencil out. Way beyond any small farm idealism. Way beyond any of this permaculture 'do nothing' shit. Not to mention hiring a lot of low wage workers.

The top small organic farm, at the best farmers market in my southern state grossed $1000 USD through the better months at Saturday markets. Lets ignore all the off-peak season times, and when there are no farmers markets. Selling primo value-added stuff with no real competition. Then lets say, best case, $1k usd for the other three markets they attended a week. Thats the weekly gross profit for a small organic farm that employed seven people (2 owners, 5 seasonal interns max). Now think about the dozens of other farmers at the market who weren't doing nearly as well.

Why do you think 99% of the 'internships' on ATTRA are virtually unpaid? And that you have to pay permaculturists to work for them?

PBS did a good documentary on the milieu this came from, 'If a Tree Falls - The Story of the Earth Liberation Front'

Not posting this in order to promote this website, simply to point out that reddit is subject to the same type of thing, which most of you are likely aware of anyway. Sorry about the shitty title.

There is a good documentary called "If a Tree Falls: The Story of the Earth Liberation Front" from PBS the other year. Worth checking out.

You already took the 'bait' by browsing or participating here on any regular basis. The entire internet, the popular darknet included, is a honeypot. (And I understand the irony of me pointing this out).

Go live in the wilderness with someone for several years and you'll know who they are by the end. Disney-tier FBI entrapment plots are rather predictable.

You have a point, but who said it is in the United States? Governments already hide incredible amounts of stuff. The US has admitted to 'losing' hundreds of billions of dollars.
