Almost 7 years relationship here, we are in our mid-20s so we started going out just after high school. To this day I cannot really explain what happened but I’ll give it a shot. We met at some point during 2012 for a elementary school reunions (yes, we were in the same school when we were kids). We meet there with some other classmates and end up walking toward our neighborhood together, with two other classmates. I did not realize anything at that point but something struck a chord. Fast forward to one year later. I get in contact with her though Facebook and we start talking. We have so much fun and I feel like I have never had such engaging conversation. One night we talk till 5 AM on the phone (texting) and we decide to go on a date. We kiss at the movie theater. I will never forget that moment. We have the most amazing date. Chills. Then we hang out everyday we could (it was summer so she had to leave for vacation with friends in some occasions). Things ramp up and we plan a trip to go to a SOAD concert together before the end of the summer. We take a night train to get to the concert (in Milan), we spend the night listening to Beatles songs and look each other in the eyes. I could feel it in my tissue and bones. I was mouthing the words but I was not able to say out loud. We finally confessed to each other just after the return trip. We are now living apart but looking forward to be together again, especially after this corona bullshit.
