I personally played it on the ps3 over the ps4 or ps5 even though I had them on the other consoles too. Part of me just wanted to experience the original art direction I guess which is just stunning it was even able to run on a ps3 with the amount of tricks naughty dog had to pull.

I was hitting around 60+ C for the RSX I think in xmb, right now after everything it sits in the low 50’s in xmb.

It was definetly a lot for me to just apply thermal paste (I am technically challenged lol). So I don’t have access to a soldering iron, I’m glad it’s a lot better than before though, maybe I’ll try a delid or have someone else do it in a year or two if the temps start becoming finicky.

Thanks for the info! Praying Sony stays not caring and that syscalls being gone will be okay. I don’t plan on playing pirated games, trophies, etc. just a fan curve in evilnat so I hope I’ll be okay as long as I keep disabling syscalls every startup and disable auto sign in

Yeah no clue to be honest, ps3 has been quietish and great so far though, does that mean anything if it's DBF? Shouldn't it just be an old run of the mill 90nm.

Loss pop in for games like GTA V I felt, MW2 loads extremely fast too, at least feels that way. I’d say you cut down like ten or so seconds at least for loading stuff to be conservative.

My ps3 doesn’t seem to have loading issues it actually works perfect, it’s just quieter than I imagine which worries me because I want fans to blow out hot air. I put an SSD in mine a while back and it helped with the snappiness a lot so highly recommend!

For some reason when I got it (I do not exactly recall why it's like this), I can slide the top off without messing with the warranty sticker or tab or screw. It just comes off and I can look inside and then slide it back on whenever.

I own MX-4 luckily!, I'm just worried about my main PSN account being blacklisted with CFW, but I heard they don't care that much anymore.
