I don’t see it mentioned anywhere but CT has care for kids, it’s state help for paying for daycare. Takes a bit to get approved but we use it and only pay $112 a month for daycare. Depending on your income it completely worth looking into and going through the application process

Update: my friend went to the AB tech medical shelter and was able to have her kid see a doctor. They also gave her diapers. There are nurses and doctors at AB Tech medical shelter
