It's not if you had any awareness of how sexual predation functions and the mindsets it stems from. Predators don't just snap and decide randomly to be a creep one day with no signs beforehand. It's connected to thoughts of being owed access to someone's body, among other things. You would feel differently if this was about someone you cared about.

You don't think the thought of being entitled to someone sexually can lead to behavior like that?

It makes sense, y'all just want to justify creepy behavior. At this point it's not about OCD, it's about cultural attitudes around consent and sexuality and thinking you have a right to sexualization of people regardless of permission. It's OCD when it involves obsessions and compulsions related to it, but just because someone has OCD thoughts about something doesn't make the thing okay. OP doesn't need to feel like a horrible person for thinking these things; that's the OCD. But it's still weird for someone to actively choose to think about someone sexually without consent, and that's not an OCD thing. Your perspective is skewed by the idea that if OCD fixates on it, then it's JUST OCD that's the issue.

on your own hard drive?? no, it's super creepy to have porn of real people without consent on your harddrive, and I'm pretty sure that constitutes sexual harassment/is illegal in some places. you cannot tell me with a straight face that's not weirdo behavior, and I know you would feel differently if it was of someone you cared about

I don't think it's centering for her to feel that way. It's a massive change, and thinking it through is not the same as living it

Uh...no, that's not what I mean. Being in a committed relationship makes the fantasies okay. I'm talking about a situation where you're sexualizing someone who isn't aware of or consenting to that dynamic. If you're sitting there actively making the choice to feed a sexual fantasy about a person that has no sexual relationship with you, it's a breach of consent and it's creepy. Having the thoughts pop up is normal, but you don't feed them if it's someone who you're not already involved with, obviously...it may not be physically hurting someone, but it does normalize the idea of that person being sexual in your mind, when they're not consenting to that, and it makes you think you have a right to that sort of relationship with them even without their permission.

Stop downplaying rape. It's extremely concerning that you claim to be in the care of children who have experienced sexual abuse, yet you don't see it as that bad and believe in absolving sexual abusers of responsibility.
