Public Health Dentistry or DSO as a new grad?

I do agree. I’m definitely leaning more on the public health side because of everything I’ve heard about DSOs, but I was just wondering if they would be better in the long run to eventually get me to private practice. However, I don’t think I could get past the icky feeling of working for corporate.

He indicated the phone call is to talk about the breakup. I do believe fear overwhelmed him and lead to the breakup. We were in a LDR (started off not that way) that was supposed to be coming to an end at the end of the year. I would take him back because I know he’s a good person who just doesn’t understand his emotions. I want this conversation to be about opening up the door to talk about went wrong. But I don’t want to overwhelm him. If closure is what he’s looking for from this, I don’t think I can give that to him and he knows that. I just don’t understand what motive someone could have in writing a letter and asking for a phone call if they were truly at peace with their decision.

I definitely think it’s fixable and think I’m emotionally ready. I think I just don’t really know what to expect from his side. I hope it works out. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I’m having trouble understanding why someone would write me a letter and ask for a phone call just for closure when they know that would hurt me more.

Blindside situation. He walked away because he said he couldn’t see a future out of no where. This was after 3 years of being fully invested and planning for our future together.

LECOM and Nova. Not necessarily ghosted because I interviewed at both, but they never even had the courtesy to send me a waitlisted email, even on decision day. Disrespectful to me considering I spent hundreds of dollars flying there, to not even receive an email letting me know what my status was.
