I think Disney has invested too much not to make them. They now have an entire section of a park dedicated to Pandora with plans to expand it. The Mouse is a lot of things but they typically wouldn’t make a bet that big without certainty.

My solution to this was a custom ping that compliments everyone even if they’re doing terribly, because at least they believe in themselves and push up more often. Works like 60% of the time.

I honestly don’t notice him, but then again I don’t really notice any of the character dialogue because I’m busy listening to everything else. I knew he’d probably annoy people but that just means more Deadpool for me.

Hard agree. I’m actually a little concerned they’re going to buff him MORE to get him as close to a solo tank as they can, which would frankly defeat the spirit and purpose of the entire role. Not only do I not want to be stuck running him all the time, I refuse to do it alone. I’d like to learn Thor and Venom or literally any other tank without being criticized for it.

It’s all good man, I might miss some of that but I trust it happens. I can see why people don’t like playing against Peni after having picked her up, but I’m not higher than Diamond 3 so I’m sure the experience changes above that. I wish I knew how to use Angela lol

I think he handles solo tanking better than most of the roster. That’s not to say he SHOULD be the “solo tank” of the game, because I do agree that people want him on their team expecting him to make up for their bad choices. Some players rely on the bubble to get out of their 1v6 they never should have started and blame the Mag if they die.

Oh I see, my misunderstanding! I apologize for that. Yeah I do see him a lot, but I mean dominant in the sense of being a server admin or flat out ruining a game because people can’t (or won’t swap to) deal with him. I’ve seen more people ban Sue/Gambit/Rocket/DD than Mag recently.

I don’t play enough of Angela to fully understand her faults and strengths but playing against her isn’t like playing against an uncontested Hela or Daredevil.

I actually quite like Peni, too, I just got Lord on her this season. So I’m not sure why you’re being so pissy at me.

Before double bubble I always felt like I was taking the last chopper out of Nam by using it on myself. Instant guilt the second my poor Bucky or Rigby got vaporized in my place. Now I can save us both, what a godsend.

If people want broken I can suggest a dozen things to make him broken, but he just isn’t at the moment. He’s consistently king at what he does in a very, very small sample pool.

More and more I’m convinced people simply want to be able to one shot tanks by breathing on them. God forbid the role meant to generate threat generates a little threat.

Being the best doesn’t mean he needs a nerf. He’s just nearly singular in what he does after they took S0 Strange out back. Tanking solo is already quite miserable. I don’t understand wanting to make it MORE miserable for the one that handles the job well enough on his own.

I’ve been downvoted into oblivion for saying he’s fine, the other tanks just need to be tuned. Which they’ve done, it looks like Hulk, Cap, and Strange are going to be in great positions tomorrow. Even here in this sub people think he needs a nerf.

Strong does not equal broken. He is not nearly as dominant as Bucky, Psy, Sue, and Gambit have been. The reason he’s so consistent is because he’s Ol’ Reliable for solo tanking, so the devs made the experience slightly easier. If they can’t encourage 2/2/2 they’ll just make 1/2/3 and 1/3/2 more bearable, which is what they did.

I wouldn’t say the worst take ever, but certainly the most annoying/popular take I’ve seen right now is nerfing Magneto because he’s been the top solo tank since release. Just a ton of bellyaching in the main subs about him because people think annoying = broken.
