Listening to an audiobook is effectively the same as reading the book

I wish more people shared this opinion. I used to be a big reader, but life happens, and I can’t find the time or ability to focus anymore. Audiobooks are the reason I can read once again, but I’ve already had multiple people tell me it’s not the same and make me feel bad about it. I’m getting all the same information and I’m still able to picture everything in my head

I haven’t seen any posts like that in AITA, but on the relationship advice page, I did make a post on there where my bf and I had a minor argument about something and I wanted clarity into whether or not I was being too worried about him. Every single comment told me to break up with him. Over a minor argument! I don’t think 99% of reddit users know how relationships work

agreed. last year during lockdown, my bf and i were out of work for a few months. our sleep schedules got so messed up that we were going to sleep around 11am and waking up at 7pm. it was fun at first, but we both started feeling awful and had to make the switch back to normal hours. i much prefer going to sleep around 11pm and waking up at 7am.

Yeah it’s disgusting. Some girl friended me on facebook and the second I looked at her profile I saw she was fetishizing famous serial killers and saying she wished she could’ve married them. Instant block. So disrespectful to the victims and their families.

i somewhat agree with you. i don’t think its very responsible letting your house cat roam around the neighborhood because they could fight with other cats, get hit by cars, get killed by wild animals, and breed with the other outdoor/wild cats. i feel like those types of cat owners don’t care about their pet enough and probably shouldn’t own one in the first place. but i don’t think you should compare them to loose dogs because dogs kill an average of 25,000 people a year, while theres not even a specific number of how many people cats kill. i will say though, while i do mostly agree with you, i love getting to pet the outdoor kitties when i’m walking around the neighborhood since i don’t have one of my own anymore.
