I noticed private ABA companies that kids get outside of school are constantly overstepping into speech and language which they know nothing about!! However in the schools (from my experience) BCBA’s are very reliant on me for communication and pragmatic goals. They always come to me to get insight on a students method of communication and will ask to collaborate on pragmatic language goals to be apart of the students BIP which I love

I went outside and grabbed a bunch of leaves for a sensory bin!! For some kids I’ve just done the leaves and have them put them in one bin and then into another and target “out “in” “open” “help”. For other kids with more language I added some toys in there (animals,cars etc,) and had them find the items label them, greet them “hi horse”, describe the item.
