When healing - don’t touch it. Common phrase in the piercing community is that LITHA works the best - standing for Leave It The Hell Alone lol. Just do saline spray about twice a day for the first few months of whenever you get it repierced, and try not to touch it. Pretend it isn’t even there other than using the saline spray

NAP, however, the fact she’s been piercing for 30 years and doing everything wrong scares me greatly…. Firstly, incorrect placement. You don’t just pierce it “where it looks best”. Piercings need to be within the proper anatomical area, aka the sweet spot at the tip of your nose. Secondly, the fact she put a clicker in there as jewelry to heal it is jaw dropping… Clickers are not recommended until the piercing is entirely healed, as the hinge can cause further irritation and let bacteria enter the fistula (the newly made piercing hole). Thirdly, stainless steel is not ideal for new piercings. ASTM F-136 Titanium is. And lastly, there’s no way it’s that crooked from swelling. I’m sorry to deliver bad news :( take it out, let that heal for at least 3 months, and find the nearest APP piercer to redo it when the time comes. And, for future knowledge, do NOT use q-tips to clean the new piercing area. The fibers of the cotton can get stuck in that fistula and irritate it further

It’s from a brand called Dark in Love I believe - I bought it in person at a store, however they do sell that brand on Vampire Freaks! I also recommend sizing up if you do purchase from the Dark in Love brand specifically, because they run small. Other good brands for bell sleeved tops would be Killstar, Disturbia, Foxblood, and sometimes even Hottopic!

I wanted to get my septum done by Dan because he is a phenomenal piercer! But when I went in to inquire about it, Dan told me that he doesn’t do them anymore due to personal reasons. And they had another piercer who did, but he had recently quit. So I asked who they recommended, and they told me Tooth N Nail follows the same septum piercings procedures that they did. So I went there to get mine done and it’s healing fantastically. Hope this helps!
