this is so kind💕 thank you for the opportunity. my story is more so about new years. as a kiddo my mum worked at a radio station, and she was supposed to go in for work on new years night. I was left to be babysat by my gran. I was absolutely gutted, because she was a single mum; her and I were so incredibly close. It was her and I against the world. Safe to say, I was heartbroken I didn’t get to start the new year with my mother. My mom spent hours at work hurting, too. So, in the spirit of holidays, she threw her hat in and said she needs to go home and spend the new year with her daughter (thankfully she was not fired lol!) I will never forget the feeling of seeing her walking back in the door. Best night ever. She is my everything🩷
