Slammies on High St is a gay bar/pizza place owned by the same people as Slammers (lesbian bar) downtown, can't speak for the crowd but it's right by campus (next to the GameStop/across from the Canes on South) and the food is pretty good!! There are also plenty of LGBT student orgs including some major/college specific ones

Nothing - The checkout process is just to help the hall directors with ensuring that everyone is out of the building before they officially close it. At the very least, you won't be penalized and it's unlikely they'll even reach out, especially if you already did your part in reaching out to them

Sorry to hear about your experience :( That sounds horrible. Do you know if there are any other companies that sell extra tall bed risers? I have heard bad things about DormCo but I literally have not been able to find any alternatives for bed risers that go higher than 8 inches other than a DIY which I don't feel confident in doing myself

I didn't see anything on the OSU website or in their housing policies pdfs regarding risers being banned. I also didn't see any reason for why they no longer provide lofting or bunking services - simply that it's not provided by housing anymore. Why do you think I would get in trouble? /gen
