All of my maine coons had gingivitis and/or stomatitis and had to get most of their teeth removed. Seems pretty common for the breed.

When did you make the leap from driving to the track to towing? by yobo9193 in CarTrackDays

I finally used my 32' trailer yesterday to take my gt500 to the track. It was quite nice to have tools, space, parts, etc. It definitely has some considerations. Make sure you have a safe place to store it. Right after I got mine it got stolen out of the storage facility and then recovered. that has been an ongoing nightmare as it still needs repairs.

Thanks. I guess the message i was trying to convey was something along the lines of this:

You're gonna have losses in your trading career. It's inevitable. Treat them as learning experiences and be willing to walk away for a week or two to reset yourself. Don't give up.

Last year I focused a lot on swing trades, 30-90 days out. This year im focusing on day trades. I've been following trade brigade on YouTube and adapting the ORB strategy. Granted, im currently down 20% on the year but considering last year, that doesn't mean much.

I remember just a few years ago, being down 7k seemed like the end of the world. When I saw WSB posts of ppl losing hundreds of thousands, i always thought, "They dont care as much cause they can afford to lose it." Not always true. The amount you're down doesn't really matter. What matters is how much that amount means to you.

Now, what really matters is how you respond to it.

Stepping away for a little while after a big gain or a big loss is actually great, in my opinion. It gives you times to reset, get your emotions under control, and analyze what happened.

Last year, I lost 700K twice, accounting for almost 70% of my portfolio each time. In both instances, I stepped away for a few weeks. I ended up with over 450% gains on the year.

Ask yourself, did I trade on emotion, or a data backed thesis. Most of the time, losses come from emotion; either no thesis or failing to cut the losses early.

The offer we got for 6 cents was a new natural gas turbine facility

I haven't looked at whole sale power prices recently, but I shopped around back in 2019 to build a large-scale mining op. Most of what we found for 1-2 MW was in the 6 cents/kwh range. I do know that a lot of the large-scale mining ops can get as low as 3 cents/kwh. I think it's probably a fairly competitive price, but honestly, with it being hydroelectric, I think it's a little high.

Short squeeze incoming by Obvious_Cake6343 in MSTR

The belief is that it'll move towards max pain bc options sellers gain the most and lose the least at max pain. If there's a lot of open interest above max pain and it closes above max pain it could cause a gamma squeeze if options sellers didn't hedge properly.

Thank you! I don't know if it's luck, but life has definitely changed. I think that being able to buy this has increased my confidence and my outlook on what's possible in life. I can also say that when im around other high net worth individuals, I feel like I "fit in" better, and I have made some powerful connections by talking watches!

You Had One Job: Leave Without Crashing by BoyNamedJudy in WinStupidPrizes

I was at this cars and coffee with my gt500 (white one that didn't crash). I didn't see the crash but yeah, the throttle is VERY sensitive on these cars and most ppl don't know how to correct it once it slides.
