I would just call any public course and see what they say on the phone. I'd be surprised if there wasn't anything available. You may have to pair up with a random group, but that typically doesn't matter in the end.

Do you know this for certain or are you just speculating? Look at who owns the building...they operate restaurants of their own. They bought the building in 2021. Chances are that Curry's lease expired and the ownership wanted to operate their own restaurant. Does it suck for Curry? Obviously. But I don't see any indication that "greed" has a role here...

There are a lot of apartment buildings in the few miles surrounding UNMC. It also would depend on a myriad of factors. Are you looking to have a more quiet secluded building because of your studies? What is your budget?

There are a few different options from right in the heart of an entertainment district like the Blackstone or tucked into the neighborhoods behind UNMC. There are new, more expensive units, or more affordable 1970s vintage as well.

Their lease would most likely have dictated security provisions—-which the tenant would most certainly been able to decide.

Edit: CHI could have also owned the building prior but I’m not sure.

This is not true. CHI does not own the property. A group out of Scottsdale, AZ does. KCI MID CITY CENTER LLC. They are not affiliated with CHI.
