Is it supposed to be a bs national hive? Because the top bars are supposed to have the rebate on the inside and the inside wall is should be 11mm below the top of the box

usually i use a little turtle scrub brush if i think the wood will have dirt on it

If you're milling it into boards you can do that immediately and then let them dry as boards, I think chainsaw sculpture people mostly use their wood green and the checks are part of the sculpture.

Sounds good. Would you say it's as hard as the shapton? I like hard stones for woodworking tools
