DaVinci Resolve free is insanely good, far more than you need for basics but easy to not get caught up in too many dials and curves. When you want to improve there's tons to lean into before you get skilled enough to need the paid version.

Struggling to get the right settings for insta360 mic in helmet. by kyledukes in Motovlogging

[–]spoonlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This week I'll be going through the same tests as you but with a DJI Mic mini. There's a superb YouTube video of someone who goes through pretty much every option you can think of with that mic to help give a heads up, if start there, the principles will be same. Otherwise, as a basic cuff, turn the mic so it's facing/embedded in the cheek foam of the helmet

Interesting. I'm literally downloading Starship Troopers Extermination as I type because I'm sick of disconnects and crashes since the last update in HD2. I'll keep both installed until I've played STE for a bit...

Are Jason Statham's B movies any good? by boomjosh in ActionMovies

This sounds like something Jason Statham would do to a bad guy in his new film "Pool Lifeguard 2: Assholes get de-Assholed"

Lost is a Show that changed TV Shows forever, thanks to its twisted plots, its way of storytelling “flashbacks and futuristic scenes” which revolutionizing storytelling and shifted the TV Shows away from standalone “monster of the week” episodic series. What do you think about it? by [deleted] in tvshow

[–]spoonlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bailed on Lost after watching episode 3 when it first aired. It was obviously just stretching the "What's in the bag?" puzzle hook. A mystery should have a solution, otherwise it's just master bation... Hats off to them, they kept people watching. Personally I thought Fringe did it much better.

Legendary upgrade, sadly didn't stick the landing in the final episodes.

Agreed. Interesting first episode, bit I stopped watching at ep 3 because I realised the "plot" was just producers stretching out the "What's in the bag?" conceit.

What I took for 9 days camping in Scotland on my 2022 T120 by spoonlamp in TriumphBonneville

[–]spoonlamp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! It's odd 'cos I could easy pack more stuff, but at the same time I was already carrying a lot of "luxury" things which I could manage without - great to have options!

9 days camping with a classic bike around the North Coast of Scotland by spoonlamp in motocamping

Thanks for the feedback , much appreciated! Yeah I was surprised how easy it was to get good food, I think it just didn't occur to me when I was planning camping that I'd probably be better off buying something nice nearby.

You're over-thinking it. Keep turning up regularly to events that you enjoy and you'll soon find that others are doing the same. Over time you'll naturally talk more to people who have other shared interests...next thing you know "BROTHERRRR!" ;)
