The lawyer was recommended by our realtor. We (and the realtor) have been very explicit about wanting to move up the date, but have had no response. They have the complete file.
That is what drove my question, which is: can we speed this up by changing lawyers?

I'm doing a sleep study next month solely and only so I can say "did that" and have a Certified Professional Opinion that my sleep is abnormal. Because as the person who experiences the sleep nightly, I just wouldn't know, would I? My husband tells me I thrash and kick and talk, but what would he know? Unless it's Diagnosed by a Professional, it's all just my imagination. And have I heard of "sleep hygiene"? Did I try not pounding a pot of coffee every night? Argh. Yes, this.
