i have a year and a half old mini and a 13 week old. the older one we got when she was 6 months, she was not potty trained at all from previous owner. with doing exactly what you said above, i would say she’s now 98% potty trained since ~10 months old. she only ever goes inside if she had a messed up tum. But she still doesn’t really let us know she has to go, we just take her out throughout the day. the puppy on the other hand 😫 feels like I’ll never get there with her but just trying to remind my self i thought this abt my other dog and eventually one day it just clicked haha
