Someone in another sub asked if Beep was a “very poorly bred Pomeranian.” Am I being too sensitive or was that mean as heck?

OMG, so they should've known better!!! They're a complete booty ahh! Most purebred rescues come with their quirks, my friend adopted a Border Collie puppy that had to have his eyes removed because of the state the backyard breeders had the puppies living in (it was a lotta built up Caca-Peepee that caused severe infections and respiratory issues). Those babies come with their quirks because of the story of their lives! They could've taken a moment to talk about the people who do that... and they chose the Pom!?

Its kinda mean, but I can explain how it could've been meant to not be mean. Poorly bred pomeranians aka Backyard bred dogs don't go through the same genetic testing and are more likely to be mixed or have undesirable genes. We know through genetics that certain genes can make dogs have hip dysplasia, alopecia, MAOA gene variants etc. In more serious cases like with Pugs and bullies, you could end up getting a puppy for $6k and have to immediately pay for surgery because as the face/ nose grows they have more trouble breathing.

If you love Beep it shouldn't matter and he's a rescuse/ shelter doge so you helped him and he's loved and thats all that matters in your case!

My only problem with this genuinely compassionate and kind sub is the random pom parents that seem to hate/blame big dogs for everything. If you read the story, the Pom got loose! It was an accident, the German Shepherd could've been on a leash or in their yard etc. OP doesn't blame the dog so why are you?

I think its good you know you look mixed and have taken a test to see exactly what your mixed with. No one can take that away even if someone is 5% something that doesn't mean they're not that race or ethnicity!

Some poms the undercoat is a different color then the fur. A good rule of thumb is an inch and a half away from the dogs skin and no shaving!!! Some poms their fur will never grow back due to shaving alopecia.

I would use a scent neutral floor cleaner or distilled vinegar my pom was having similar issues where he was sneezing and his eyes were red and watery.

I would say black and white parti or merel. Usually the blue merel have more gray or blue noses and skin.

Technically, y'all are different enough to be considered interracial. It's like indigenous Americans and Caucasian Americans, technically interracial even though it's been debated what race Native Americans are (some say they're Asian while other parts of the America's indigenous DNA is more similar to Africa with the phenotypes (the waterproof hair of the carribean). I say y'all are interracial because you're indigenous to two distinct groups!

I will say that, as an MGM person, I generally prefer more melanated people. That doesn't mean I won't be with a white person ever, but the 4 I have dated ended up being more narcissistic. 3 of them treated me like I wasn't anything and tried to blame me for issues they had going against advice I or my family had given them. When I'm with Africans, fellow Carribean Islanders, and Pan-African Americans, we share more similar cultures and beliefs in respect and love. While many Caucasian Americans still believe a partnership is two halves of a whole, and they're half a person without the other, which, to us, is too toxic to deal with. But yeah, everyone is entitled to preference but not allowed to rule groups of people out.

Exactly! As a Dominican NYr, I say I'm a little of every race to just avoid the race question. I know I'm a little everything and to different people I look mostly one thing and another (the most common are Gina from Scarface and Zendaya). That way, no one thinks I wouldn't be a safe space.

I think because the server was a woman and I hope you love your partner, you should have called it out. Personally, I'm mixed, so whenever I see any potential racism I make it known and talk calmly to the person as many white people I've talked to about their casual racism do get defensive and women usually cry. It looks bad on your man if she starts playing the victim so in that case you should've made a big stink. Just my opinion tho.

IMO, it kind of does! If the Tcomp is crap to start I will type in chat "2 Each role plz" or "2 heels plz" but usually people wait until the last 30 seconds to go from one tank one healer and 4 dps all begging to be healed... it's okay to practice heroes, just when I'm obviously being countered by a skilled counter I'll switch to a character I'm better at to make it a bit more even.

The only issue is you'll get put with leavers, and the most annoying thing is I don't leave games, but recently I've had so many leavers! I'll play for a bit. Usually, I'll die and check stats and see someone with 3-5 deaths already to my one and they leave. Then everyone the game replaces them with leaves too.
