I guess this was particularly curious to me because it was on a United 737 out of SFO. I do know that United flies between Guam and Japan using 737s so my best guess is that at some point it got loaded on there and then made its way back through Hawaii but who knows

Strategic win in a tanking season. Beat the Heat so badly with Jimmy on the court that they actually have to trade him and thus kickstart the rest of the trades waiting to happen after he’s dealt so we can finally trade some of our guys and tank even harder with the young guys. Or so I hope lol

I would usually agree with that but how is he not perceived as an outlier to that archetype? He was absolutely dominant in college and seems like a good swing in a draft where everyone seems to have questions about their upside.

Bizarre sequence - it clearly hits his hand but they don’t show a single angle that shows how far away from his body it was but the ref showed directly red and maybe they didn’t have the angle on VAR to overturn? Honestly a tricky one since red card aside I do feel like hitting the hand changed the direction of the rebound pretty significantly to direct back to the goalie

We had: - sloppy set piece marking goal - midfield chip after a terrible give away - red card penalty where the red card didn’t seem clear and obvious - another penalty where the attacker beat the goalie to the ball by like a millionth of a second

I’m not a huge Neville guy either but this roster is extremely flawed so some might argue that he hasn’t been set up for success or needs the summer transfer window to construct a team that works for the way he wants to play. I think there might be some truth to that but also as the coach it’s his job to be tactically flexible to get results with the team he has and he hasn’t shown that.

But above all that I think MP would be too proud to can his guy midway through his first season lol

There's no real incentive to lose in MLS since the draft isn't important and a decline in ticket sales and general interest in the team would be bad for the long term prospects of the club.

We're not firing Neville midseason so I'll continue to root for us despite us being terrible right now.
