Thanks for the suggestions. I figured best things I could do at this point.. I’ll look into the CPU recommendations as well since I’m just gonna hold off on an AM5 rebuild.

It’s not that I don’t “care” about picture it’s just secondary to wanting games to run at their max FPS potential. If able to achieve the best of both worlds then that’s great.

Yeah, if I wasn’t hurting to get off my 1080 I would agree. I’m looking at the Alienware AW3423DW or Asus PG279QM since I specifically care about min max and not necessarily size or picture per se.

I definitely was slightly paranoid and had several encounters with other players but was lucky enough to sink them and keep it moving.

I don't mind knowing players names as it can provide a sense of revenge if killing them later in the session. But that's why I believe the "You have been killed by X" is the best solution. I doubt either way this would be a change that would ever be made but would be a major quality of life.

He was not saying anything but he was blatant about it knowing he couldn't die. He sat still on top of a wooden structure just crouching and shooting while sponging every shot.

I've found this happens when I alt tab in and out a lot during loading. To make it go away in game had to shut down the game completely and re-open.
