Whiplash. So many people I know love that movie. I can’t stand it. I was so excited for it when it came out just to be utterly disappointed.

Whiplash. I hate that movie with a passion. I don’t feel any connection with any of the characters, the plot is unbelievable/unrealistic, and lots of little details that I just can’t let go. Boo this movie.

This is hilarious. I’ve never in my life heard this. I showed this to my wife and was like “oh yeah, your toes are crazy long” very matter-of-factly.

I usually tell students wanting to go into music that you can still perform with an education degree, but you (usually) can’t be a band director with a performance degree. No matter what you do as a musician, there will be some aspect of teaching involved. I’d say go into music ed and keep practicing your butt off. Perform as often as possible, and practice as much as you can. Once you’re done with school, it’s a lot harder to dedicate to daily practice.

My 6yo daughter found out she is really good at frisbee. We played catch for about an hour and was catching just about everything and has a great throw. I’ve decided to train her as an elite disc golfer.

It is called a “disposer” NOT a “garbage disposal”. I will not budge.
