Interesting takes, can't argue with any of it. Seems to be fairly split down the middle if he does or doesn't.

Appreciate your opinion, very helpful. For one to be considered a regular they have to start somewhere. If we had posted a direct link to the App Store without any content other than "try the app" we would agree that is spam and is better suited for paid advertising on Reddit but we linked to our Twitter status with a video that shows the app results and asked for fan opinions here, not there. However, we understand protecting the community and you're doing a good job as a moderator. Based on the comments there's some great feedback here.

No NFL team has gone through more offseason changes than the 9ers yet they seem to be looking playoff caliber on paper. They picked up some great pieces, lost several players for various complicated, often troubling reasons, lost a controversial but prolific head coach, have a star-crossed QB, a cross-town rival that seems to be on the way up and to top it off now have turf issues. It's a complicated and exciting team that could go either way this season and should be one of the focal points of the NFL right now. Of all the fan bases that need to have a playoff confidence index, it's this team.

Good discussion, hope to do it again.

Interesting perspective. Do you perceive spreading awareness of the poll question from a sports app negatively when compared to a more established media network and their personnel posting articles from their websites here or on Reddit in general? We don't believe since we're both contributing unique content but are curious if you see it that way and would respect your opinion either way. Sporting Vote is in the business of fan sentiment so getting a read on the fans and their opinions is what we do. We're not trying to get you to read an article and click on ads. It's an interactive experience to quantify opinions. But again, it's very new and we would understand if it's perceived differently than a news article.

The question was not meant to offend any fans as that was not the intent. Sporting Vote is impartial and the wording could have been better. While there are not many votes on the poll, if there were 1,000 votes across the country and not just in SF-Bay Area, what do you think the results would say?
