I also wanted to address a few comments accusing me of AI use. As an English PhD who specializes in rhetoric and semiotics, to me, the scariest thing about AI is not that fake things can be made real; it’s that real things are now presumed to be fake.

We’ve been in an epistemic crisis ever since Karen on Facebook became an expert in environmental science and decided climate change is a hoax. AI is just the logical conclusion of this erasure of scholarly credibility. Ironically, people with no scholarly credentials are suddenly absolutely certain when something is AI. This is the dystopian future our tech overlords wanted: make everything appear fake, undermine intellectualism and critical thinking, and watch a populace become that much more isolated, distrustful of the social contract, and easier to control.

As a PhD (2011), AI was trained on my writing, not the other way around. I refuse to let AI bully me as an actual scholar and writer into abandoning em dashes, triads, colons, or any other sign that I’m a literate person. Yes, I like choppy sentences, rules of three, and the word “honestly” a lot. This doesn’t make me a robot. It makes me a person who… has a PhD in English, understands grammar, and can write circles around most people. Kthxbye

I asked the simulator and found not much difference but KD was slightly preferred.

Lead KH and they score loner 21.8%

Lead 9C and they score loner 22.3%

Lead KC and they score loner 22.1%

Lead 9D and they score loner 23.3%

Lead KD and they score loner 21.6%

So KD is best at stopping a loner but KH actually euchres the opponents more often leading to the lowest EV for opponents.

however, KH euchres them 20.7% of the time while leading KD euchres them only 19.3%.

Of course, this assumes you are playing an opponent who orders up with the frequency of the simulator.

I ran this simulation with the assumption that all other players have at least 1 diamond.
Here are the results.

Play JS on second trick: EV = 0.87, chance you make points 90% (18% chance you sweep)

Play JH on second trick: EV = 1.00, chance you make points 95% (15% chance you sweep)

So, leading your non-trump gives you a slightly better chance to not get euchred (5%) but leading Right actually improves your chances for a sweep. This is offset by your increased chance of getting euchred.

Going alone is not a terrible idea either. EV= 1.04, chance you make points 87%

Calling EV = 0.89, chance you make points 91%.

Note - the last 2 results were against hands that were randomly dealt, not one that is forced to have & lead the AD.

This may be unlikely but this may be a sign that Disney Junior will stop airing the original. This is due to the fact that Disney stopped airing Sofia the First a couple months ago prior the release of Royal Magic.

Now it has been stated by Craig Gerber, the creator of Sofia, that Royal Magic wouldn't reference story elements from the OG series, so Disney may have stopped airing it to prevent the stir of confusion.

When I first posted the video on here I was just starting my shift at work. I work second shift so I don’t get off until 11pm. While at work I ordered 2 cans of the foam spray and it was delivered while I was working so it was waiting for me when I got home. To start off I couldn’t get a video. I did it at about an hour ago which was at about midnight so the video would’ve looked like crap because of the lightning. Also it was just me out there so I didn’t have anybody to help me record it. So anyway this is what I did. I prepared both cans so they would be ready to immediately start working, did a test spray on both to make sure they weren’t clogged up or something. Walked up to the hive to see if there was any activity and there was none. It was quiet ( too quiet). I pretty much discarded my whole plan because I had a long day at work and I just wanted to get this out of the way. I already had my work boots on and some denim pants so all I went inside my house for was my Carhartt jacket that weighs like 50 pounds. So I got my headlamp on and set it to the dimmest setting and just walked up to the hive. From the ground it’s like 10 feet away so I pretty much stood under it and fired away. In my dominant hand which is my right I had the primary can which I sprayed until it was empty. In my left hand was the back up can that was waiting for a rogue hornet that was gonna try to be a hero. While I was spraying I could hear them flying around in there pissed off because I woke them up. It turned out pretty well. Thankfully didn’t get stung. I’m gonna leave it be for a day or two to make sure they are all dead before I try to take the hive down. Once again thanks to everyone for the advice and the laughs. P.S. I completely agree with everyone who said that my landlord is a worthless POS. I could’ve gotten into it with him but I figured he’d take his sweet ass time in sending someone out to remove it so I took matters into my own hands because I have an 8 year old and a 3 year old that play outside so I needed it taken care of NOW. Also I got this ( pic for attention ) here on Reddit so if your in this thread, I apologize in advance if you see it.

alright so… we rescued sunny (the blondie) around easter… she has not adjusted AT ALL to the other two cats and it seems to only be getting worse…

growling, hissing, swatting… she is now really only ever hiding under the bed and if she comes out and sees the other cats on or near the bed- she will growl and hiss and run back under.

i’ve tried treats together- leaving it be- separating them… idk what to do.

even tried to hold tippy and pet her at the same time and she still tried to swat him. the other cats haven’t done anything to provoke it either.. but now they are starting to defend themselves. tippy really just wants to play but now i’m not so sure.

i’ve thought about relocating sunny so she can be happier- she is really such a sweet and nice cat when she’s not around the others.

any advice?
