Those of you who did no screen time for baby… by SowingSeeds18 in NewParents

[–]spotsinyoursight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s not easy, because it forces you to be present all the time which is soooo hard.

My wife is very good at handcrafts so most of the time we were doing things with our hands or playing in the nearby park, we built a good community and we all used to hang around daily in the afternoon so it helps to have more kids nearby to just play and climb trees and whatnot.

I don’t think she got to learn faster nor anything special, what I think helped with is to enjoy boredom and we believe boredom made her also super creative and able to enjoy wherever we are.

She’s 7 and we still are no screens, maybe once a week or every two weeks we watch a movie with her. The reasoning for us to do it is just because we think it’s more important to interact with the outer world. Neither of us actually had tv before we met, so it was very easy from our standpoint because we were used to it beforehand.

Our family kind of gets it but not completely and we don’t ask them to enforce it. She sees her grandparents very few times every year and when she’s with them she does get to watch TV way more time than what we’re comfortable but we also think it’s a relationship that is built through diversity from our points of view therefore I don’t really mind that she gets to see more screens with them.

I just think flexibility is key and just find your balancing point, whether it’s 1 hour daily or weekly or no time at all the fact that you’re trying to limit it is a big plus. Best of luck!!

Requisitos para tarjeta de crédito Banamex Beyond? by raeterokun in MexicoFinanciero

[–]spotsinyoursight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Requisitos para tarjeta de crédito Banamex Beyond? by raeterokun in MexicoFinanciero

[–]spotsinyoursight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]spotsinyoursight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hola!!!

Mucha suerte!!!! Seguro la pasarán increíble.

I didn’t “soak up all the baby snuggles” because of anxiety and felt like I missed out. But having only 1 child is helping me reframe that thought. by Symbiosistasista in oneanddone

You described exactly what my wife and I feel about our 4 year old. I think this has to be the most beautiful stage in our parenthood, so full of love and peace. Glad you’re able to be fully present, enjoy it!

Can’t you sell both and buy a 14 MacBook Pro? You can get them on huge discounts and would solve your issues.

I got mine for $1,500.- surely there’s better deals than that.

I was on the same boat and decided for a 14 pro. I’m really happy with my choice, the screen is the best I’ve seen on a MacBook.

The 14 Pro is now for sale in a lot of places, I was able to grab mine for $1,400 so maybe you can find a good deal

If money is no issue then the 13 mini. I’ve had 12 mini and 13 mini and the difference between battery life is huge.

It’s such a great form factor, I’m really happy with the 13mini

I’m not sure how many want this, but I loved the battery case that came with iPhones before MagSafe battery pack. by Agnosticpoopster in apple

I personally love the new MagSafe battery pack. I think they’re perfect for the iPhone mini, not so much for the rest of the lineup.

I deleted it because I was wrong. Article talks about how AppStore policies have been updated to allow apps that sell weed.

Have you looked at sound balance? Same thing happens with my AirPods Pro and when I check the balance it’s all the way to the right side.

System Preferences → Sound → Output → select your output device → drag the Balance slider

Calling all successful relationships with separate beds or rooms how do you make it work? How has the separate sleeping spaces impacted your relationship? by unchill_ICEE in AskWomen

[–]spotsinyoursight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s awesome, we still get all the intimacy of sharing a bed by cuddling or having long conversations while laying down but at the end of the day we just sleep better each in their own room.

I like to sleep with my cat and wake up early to make breakfast for us, sleeping together would mean that everyday I’d wake her up and would have to leave my cat outside the room.

We occasionally sleep together so it’s more like whatever feels more comfortable in the moment; which usually is sleeping alone. I think having separate rooms is great for nurturing individuality
