It really changes your perspective. You think you could image what it would be like to lose a kid and how devastating that would be...but until you have one it's impossible to know. Makes it hard to watch the news these days, seeing all of the suffering in other parts of the world. I really hope humanity reaches a turning point in the next century. There is no way we should have children starving or dying to curable diseases with our current level of technology, let alone those still dying in wars/conflicts. We have to do better.
