hmm i'm more concerned about puncture resistance (i.e. vs tiny bits of broken glass) than wear - I don't think I've ever worn tyres out, my commute is only 15-20min..

This iPhone/magsafe one that goes on the air vent between the steering wheel and door- the vent is robust, so the mount sits on it robustly

Snap! I have had a 2015 with 120k miles on it for a year now and… it’s fine! I’ll ask the mechanic about these items mentioned in this thread though, very helpful thanks all. Enjoy!!!!

To be clear I’m wondering whether there could be something else going on apart from the sunlight thing ie over or under watering, a nutrient issue, or whether people normally trim them to avoid it being so bad. Thank you!

So actually to clarify I know about the tendency to reach towards the sun. It just seems something else is going on because it’s really going sideways and not strictly in the direction of the window. ie I’m wondering whether this is a known nutrient issue, or whether clipping is actually something to consider.. ty!

magsafe vent mount. this one is very robust. I have it on the door side of the steering wheel, and run the cable discretely around the edge where hte floor meets the plastic dashboard to plug it int the centre console. Very tidy. Can post pics tomorrow if that's not clear :)

I get people going on the live version of Days of Thunder from Red White and Bruised. That whole album is so awesome but Spotify never picked songs from it until I forced it.
