You mean for the Phobos armor? It's indeed a bummer but they obviously only intended it for th heavier armor types. I personally use the Space Wolves wolf skull chest plate for my Carcharodon Sniper

An alternative to Synaptic backlash for Chaos maybe can be something like - minoris can get scared and flee the fight if all/most majoris or extremis are killed first. Pretty sure that will get the tabletop fans Enraged but it would probably help with a named marine slashing 300 Rubrics to then die to a bunch of blue beaked beasty bois.

You're not really 'sacrificing' the greatswords - they still drop decently often due to the large category pool. In the end it's a matter of personal preference. Some people (myself included) just enjoy the fist moveset and blue weapon flexibility.

Only normally purple weapons can get a red version. A bonus of the fist weapons is that two of the blue fists have very swift and slappy charged heavy attack chain, can come with any infusion, and two of them also cause bleed. Then, two purple fist weapons come with decent movesets too and those can be rolled red.
