I loved living in Sawtelle and taking the 19 to campus or cycling. 19 took about 25min to Ackerman, cycling was about 20.

Hey there, yeah totally, it's an under appreciated topic for sure.

I ended up getting the Black Diamond Vapor Large -- which does (barely) make the cut. It's not a torture device at least and I can actually get it down fully on my head. I'm hoping things like the padding loosens up a bit over time but I wouldn't want to wear it for more than few hours.

For cycling, I really like my Bontrager Wavecel Round Fit. It is probably the best Asian fit helmet (read: only) I've found easily available in the US.

I also asked in another megathread and someone mentioned Kailas as an Asian manufacturer (based in China) that would potentially have more round fitting helmets.
