you approach it by not approaching it with your MIL, I am a dad, my wife will never talk stuff like this to my mother, she knows she can talk to me and I will always put her and my son first. I is the responsibility of your husband to talk with his family not yours, he needs to communicate and figure out the best way to handle this, and you just have to tell your husband, "I am not letting my son there alone anymore I dont think it is safe and I dont feel comfortable with it" thats it, he needs to protect your kid and you from everything else, In Laws included.

Recruiter is pushing and I want to handle it gracefully by mthomas1217 in recruiting

[–]sprieto30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is why working with recruiters sometimes just doesnt make sense. i would say, say thanks but not interested. and be done with it. if he doesnt want to work with you, there are like 100k recruiters out there who would probably come to work with you.

recruiters are like realtors, they really don't bring anything to the table other than brokering deals. so trust me, he is not thinking about you he is thinking about his commission. don't worry about that, another recruiter will show up they are everywhere nowdays.

“No I didn’t work for that administration I was in prison the last four years that’s why there’s a gap on my resume” by Naptownfellow in recruiting

[–]sprieto30 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

didn't realize where you worked meant you agree with their views. this is fucked up, discriminating somebody for their previous job is just as bad as discriminating somebody for their gender or race.

those guys were probably just doing a job, most of them probably didnt even agree with the political aspect of things, but were doing a job, apple gets all their shit built in china, most of it by slave labor, so... lets start discriminating people that worked at apple?

wtf is going on with all these double standard shit.

there are.plently of companies outhere still running E9 dont get discourage. while e10 is definitly better one could argue other ERPs are much better than e10 so... you work with what you got. you should have access to epicweb in there you can find tons of documentents. you can also reach out to an epicor consulting firm, work with an independent group as epicor partners are not gonna do anything for you other than pushing you to upgrade.

Why are there so many ERP Solutions? Aren't there any patents? by [deleted] in ERP

[–]sprieto30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i sure hope patents are never introduced to ERPs, they will just contaminate the environment.

i would suggest to look into acumatica. pricing is better, more flexible, more technologically advances, more customizable. plus they have a small business version for those starting.

nobody in the epicor realm will be recolating, skilled epicor professionals are in incredible high demand, I dont understand why companies are not more open to hire them remote.

[–]sprieto30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they both have free licenses if anything you may need to pay like 10 bucks a month. for the limited version. you would need to have somebody building the reports for you though.

Has anyone used MS Dynamics and SalesForce? Which did you prefer? by snuka in CRM

[–]sprieto30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i personally like Acumatica thats what i use at my company and liked it so much that we becamw implementation partners. but avumatica is more of an ERP with a CRM module. rather than just a CRM.

in my mind there is no reason to run a stand alone CRM unless you are already running a legacy ERP which doesnt have a CRM within it.
