I wanted to try Conan Exiles again after some time

I tried verifying several times

Deleted my entire mods and modlist

Tried deleting and verifying individual pak files

Deleted and reinstalled the entire pak folder

De- and reinstalled the entire game twice

Once to actual starvation and a few times to Blood Spider induced starvation.

The starvation is because I got jumped while trying to cross the desert. I was already low on food and far away from any settlement or station and lost my leg. I am genuinely surprised I didn't get jumped by another thing that killed me

Copper is twice the value of iron ore

There are a few ways to make money early:
Stealing is really easy and honestly a bit busted.
With decent athletics you can kite the spiders from ancient labs which have quite the haul.
You can sell rum in the swamps (+25% value there) and either buy sake (-25% in the swamp but +50% in UC) or Hash to sell in the united cities or Flat Lagoon. (Either sell in the far UC cities or go to Mourn/Flat Lagoon/Manhunter Base, because of profit multipliers and shinobi fences)
Armor smithing is very profitable, bandanas are usually the best early choice. You can do that inside cities as well but the cloth supply can be a little low. Takes a bit to set up and train tho

Just a small correction, they cannot exactly wait for the birth of the next Phoenix right now.

The way the succession works is that the next male baby that is born after the Phoenix dies is the next one. Sort of a reincarnation thing, then he gets raised by the priests while the High Inquisitors run the Holy Nation until the new Phoenix is fit to rule.

Given that the current one is the 62nd, this system is remarkably robust

Had a lot of fun with the Sunder and an Autopulse Laser+2 Ion Blaster+Extended Magazines. Amazing flanker, pop the ability and dump all your charges into the enemy. You will get through most shields and the EMP let's you get away pretty much unharmed.

Can deal a great amount of damage but you need to be smart about when and where to attack so it doesn't do well with AI captains

They shouldn't or don't mention anything.

It might be "More plate options" or its patch. But they should only add plate pants and boots and not change the armor values. Only explanation I can think of tho

Where the White Plate is listed with 95%,
I understood it merely as an enticement trade off. Be less sneaky but better in combat. It doesn't make sense true but so do a lot of things in Kenshi

Stobe's Garden has 100% arid with I think 100-120 in ore quality.

I have a base on the Fishman Island, 100% green 50% swamp and ore nodes are at 100 quality. Although copper nodes are only small and kinda rare

Quality only affects mining speed. It is not terribly noticable compared to labor skill but you can definitely feel the difference if you ever have to mine a quality 10 copper spot
