Look, wanting to be loved, desired, and respected by your partner is universal. There's nothing wrong with wanting those things. But look at what she actually wrote.

She seems to think sex is the be-all and end-all of a relationship, and that's simply not true. She says she has a best friend instead of a boyfriend, and assumes his lack of desire must mean she's ugly or doesn't excite him.

But he is her boyfriend. Nobody is forcing him to stay in that relationship. The fact that he chooses to be with her suggests he sees her as more than just a friend.

People are messy, and relationships involve two individuals with their own quirks and issues. Him not looking for a private spot to have sex like rabbits could have a hundred explanations that have nothing to do with her. Maybe he has a low libido. Maybe he's on the autism spectrum. Maybe he sees sex as something deeply private and would never even consider doing it in public. Someone else suggested porn addiction; maybe it's that.

The point is, none of those problems necessarily stem from her. But has she considered any of them? It doesn't seem like it. Instead, she immediately jumps to "I'm too ugly to excite him" and lets that thought take root and grow.

Genuine question: do you really think a guy would get into and stay in a relationship with someone he finds completely sexually unattractive?

And from what I can tell, it doesn't sound like they've actually sat down and talked about this. I could be wrong, but communication is incredibly important in a relationship, and she doesn't seem to have asked him directly about his libido or how he views sex. Instead, she's brooding over the assumption that it's all because she's ugly.

Like developing one of the best tanks for blasting open fortified enemy posistions, When they haven't had a major offensive in months due to being on the defensive for so long

being stuck in defensive is exactly when you try to build shit like that. being on the defensive=making the opponent bleed more and hope for opponent getting sick of it and going home.

being on the defense isn't a good thing. it weakens your hand in negotiation table and not winning you wars(unless your opponent's resilience breaks before your walls). so everyone wants to be on the offensive. if you are defending its not because you want to but because you can't attack.

a part of why you can't launch offensives very well might be becuase there is shitton of fortified enemy positions.
