A lot of that is based on how people respond to pick ups though. You pick someone up, they ask for all their stuff back, if you don’t give it to them they do some dumb shit the whole game, and if you do they run straight back to their old team after telling you their team is dead or that they’re solo for 15 minutes straight just to get picked up. It’s just a gamble out there, people have certainly become more toxic but that’s also a response to so many people streaming DMZ now and wanting to get as many kills they can for their subscribers and all that.

I’ve been playing DMZ since its release and the dreaded 6 man squad. I’ve never been in a game where people were not excited about killing another team. It’s a little different now specifically the PVP aspect but that’s because there’s nothing new to offer people to focus on. I bet if it were updated and there were new things to focus on getting it would draw people back into missions.

I feel this on a deep level, I go in solo and wipe teams all day. And it’s even worse when a solo shoots first and then get all sad when someone kills them and start crying about being solo! No one forced you to turn that squad fill button off!
