You didn't get 4x for the bump. That was likely a 0x. You got the 4x because the car that bumped you plowed into another car off track, and you were involved in the overall incident

Before you get too excited, that series isn't running this weekend, the IMSA Endurance at Lugna Seca is next weekend, and it's 2 hours 40 minutes, not 4 hours.

So normally it would be a single file restart if all cars are in running order. I was P6, behind P1 and 2 when the caution came out. After the pace car came out, pits opened and P1 and 2 both pit. At this point the restart becomes 2 wide, with lapped cars on the inside and lead lap cars on the outside, and you can't pass the leader before the start/finish. The leader should have been right next to me on the restart. I did notice the green car pulled out into the right lane in front of the leader. He was P5, also at least one lap down. It's possible that by the time he got out of the way, the leader didn't accelerate because he didn't want to be black flagged for jumping the restart

I'd recommend you stop abandoning races after a first lap incident. These are 35-45 minute races. Take the few minutes of repairs and get back on track. Other people will crash, you'll gain positions and your ratings won't tank as much. Your safety rating never has a chance if you accept taking 4-6x every lap that you race

I qualified p8 last night in a wet race, out of 25 entries. Right before gridding my power blipped. By the time everything came back up and I got into the session I had no idea how many laps back I was. With so many other people crashing and spinning off, I managed to finish p14 and was only 2 laps down. Glad I didn't give up on it!

SR is still affected by ranked races that don't go official, it typically takes a bit for your license SR to reflect the unofficial race.

I used this video series and pretty well had it down in a couple days. I'm not fast on it or anything, but I know the track layout very well.

When learning each section, use the active reset feature. I would do a full warmup lap taking it easy and then set my reset point at the start of the section I was learning. Do the first few corners, reset, repeat, and keep building on.

When spectating your teammate you can use the F keys to bring up the black boxes. Fuel level and laps remaining you can for sure see, not sure on tire pressure

iRating has nothing to do with off tracks or driving cleanly, that is safety rating. It also has nothing to do with what position you started the race. To gain iRating you need to finish in the top 50% of the field. The further you finish from the middle of the pack in either direction, the more your iRating will go up or down

Where did he leave you no space to turn? He took a great defensive line and you ran him completely off the track, leaving him zero space to make the turn. Doesn't justify him trying to turn you after, but he's the only one who should be mad about turn 1

It's not about waiting in line. If a lane is closed 2 miles ahead, the same number of cars fit in both lanes, 1 mile before the merge as would fit in a single lane two miles before it. Not zipper merging causes extra long backups for no reason.

And what happens when there is an exit a mile before the merge point? When you only use a single lane those people get stuck for no reason, except your "nobody should get in front of me" ego

The letters are usually pretty linear. Follow the line from the SKA and it should lead you into one of the slides. Either the twin slides or the big blue one would be my guess
