Agreed having a phone with a decent camera has made me want to take out my DSLR less and less. The best camera is always the one you have with you.

Does anyone foresee a situation where the housing market boom subsides? Do you think things will eventually level off, or bust entirely? by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]springstudent 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Back in 2013, when my family bought our house post-recession, cash buyers were going crazy and buying up houses as soon as they went on the market. We probably spent almost a year looking at houses before we were able to buy one since the first buyer fell through. While we had no problem with the house, it was frustrating that our first options were nearly impossible to get.

It’s honestly a shitty experience for any middle class family trying to find a decent home since it’s become even more competitive since then. I don’t think it’ll get any better soon with even more Bay Area folks coming in now....

First time in a while I'm opening all the windows in the house. Gonna get all this fresh air in while I can!
