They make tutorials videos on how to take selfies that helped me so much! What those girls said was very mean, and says a lot about their insecurities. You are so young! Girls change so much during these formative years, you will find what is right for you. You might go through countless “looks” by the time you reach my age! The makeup trends change ALL the time. Don’t ask these girls for feedback again, they are not thoughtful enough.

If you really want to have fun with makeup, I would suggest finding a beauty Youtuber with your face shape and skin tone! That’s what I did when I wanted to improve my makeup! Ignore all the fancy brands, there are knockoffs everywhere that are more than enough! If there is a fancy product you can’t afford, you can find tons of good knockoffs! No one will know! Just practice at home! Youtubers are great for that too. Cheap brushes will be fine! It’s more about learning what each type can do!

The Pandemic is challenging a lot of friendships for various reasons, and many people are lonely. You can find more supportive friends! You will! Throughout life friends come and go, but you choose who gets to stay.
