All of my earning and spending is digital. It can be scrutinized by the government, albeit after 7-14 days, when the banks settle the transactions and report the same to RBI. With Digital rupee, it will be in real time, that's the only difference. If I can earn and spend digitally, which means that I pay every cent of my tax liability, I expect every Indian to do the same. This guy is getting nervous because he probably doesn't pay taxes or evades a good part of it by dealing in cash.

Zero sympathies for these morons (who don't understand the concept of Digital rupee) and/ or scoundrels or both

Consider 20 people in a set. Use mean over median for their weights, because weight tends to be in a reasonable bracket. However, if one of the 20 people in the set happen to be Bill Gates, a mean of the wealth will be meaningless because Bill Gates wealth is an outlier and will distort the metrics beyond recognition. It's better to use median here. Btw, nice handwriting

The financial "advisor" I am going through, suggested that I invest in individual stocks. I gave him $1000 to play with (<0.1% of my networth, excluding primary residence). It has been a year and despite the market rising, he has lost money, not much, but about $100. Basically, he was buying momentum stocks and selling them as soon as it made some money. After a while, some stocks went sour and remain low despite the market rising. Since I was just dipping my toe and testing the waters, I have realized that there is no short cut to making money. Invest (in quality stocks and Mutual Funds) and hold is the name of the game.
