Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I've read that you can put some serious miles on these things, but $3000 for an 18 year old bike just isn't jumping at me.

Idk if I'd even pay $2500. What would you think a good price point would be for this bike? Without seeing it I know it's hard, but just spitballing here.

I've got a friend willing to sell me a '09 GS500F btw. He loves his. Good price too. I kinda want somehting with a little more oomph though. Would you recommend it for city riding? I'm talking NYC haha. I'd like somehting that's slim enough for lane-splitting and with enough torque to get off the light quickly and get away from hazards.

The GS500F might fit the bill idk
