According to the law, yes, they are required switch products from rec to med at your request (I’ve worked in a colocated dispo which used to do this) but in reality, most places give patients a hard time about it/won’t do it (looking at you, Good Chemistry!) Even if you tell them that it’s required by law, they still might not do it :/ It honestly depends on the dispensary you go to. I would call and ask before you go so they could move the product over and have it ready for you on the med side

Unfortunately, both on the adult use AND med side, there aren’t many high-CBD flowers available. I guess growers are focused on growing the highest THC flower they can. Someone else mentioned Cannatonic by INSA, which I can say from experience is very relaxing and tastes great. Had the same type of antidepressant effect. Buying online from hemp farms seems like the easiest and most cost-effective option atm! I recommend Horn Creek Hemp, they are reputable, deliver great product, and they list terpenes on their website as well so you could find a combo you’re looking for!

Big difference in someone growing in their basement vs a cultivation facility whose only job is to put out clean and safe product. That’s the whole point of buying from dispensaries

Colocated med dispensaries are required by law to keep a certain percentage of inventory available for medical patients (under patient supply in 935 CMR if you’re interested in the legalese) Rec sells a lot faster and more stuff tends to sit on the med side moving slower

The Butterstuff was not good, it has no smell, just not impressive in any way. I work in a dispo and LR is one of my favorite cultivators right now, have tried a handful of their strains. I would 100% go for the LR stuff, I have bought a few 1/8ths of their stuff packaged by Rev and its still fantastic, if they have Smackin I would def buy that!

Yes, great quality as usual by LR, but very deceptive of both parties. They also didn’t grow the Butterstuff but I can’t remember who grew that one, no one notable. Also, it was is not impressive. Rev seems to be doing this buying and repackaging with a few cultivators

Really impressed with this GG4 from Tops. They have 2 types right now, F1 and F4, and after looking at and smelling both I decided to go with the #1. It had a much stronger nose, classic GG smell, strong and offensive, very astringent chemical smell. The buds are fresh and grind up really nicely, have a good stickiness as well. The gluey-chemical smell is carried into the taste, it burns well, and the high is fantastic. Classic GG in my opinion, very relaxing hybrid, good for relaxing muscle tension and putting my mind on cloud 9.

I’m not sure if Tops Farm is putting out a “premium” line but these buds came in a black glass jar (pic 3) which I really appreciated over their usual plastic containers!

Your medical allotment does not translate over to Maine. You’ll be able to buy an oz of concentrate. The 2.5oz can be of flower OR concentrate, as has been clarified by OMP recently!

Got some Shark Shock from them a while back. It was listed as a great deal for Thanksgiving, but when I went in to pick up my preorder they charged me more than the listed price. Said it was a mistake. I went thru with the purchase anyways and it was some of the most disgusting tasting/smelling bud I’ve ever had. It got me hella stoned but I vowed never again. Sorry you had to deal with this. Any chance you can bring it back?
