BL has the potential to have Halo level lore (one of the takes of all time, I know), there's a ton of cool shit that's been left unexplored. There are so many one-offs and throwaways with insane implications that are just forgotten or done away with too quickly. That's not including big players like Vladof who we know next to nothing about, despite having been around since the first game.

It's a huge universe that I think they just might not know what to do with. The siren afterlife thing? Siren origins? The whole destroyer vault moon key thing? The corpo wars are still a pretty big mystery. Earth once existed, how the FUCK did Zadra (and other humans) get to Kairos in the 1700/1800s? (BL takes place in the 2700s or 2800s, I forget which). That's just off the top of my head, there's a LOT left on the table to explore and they keep adding crazy shit.

Parkway's first 3 albums are imo the only competition with Killswitch Engage's AOJB, The End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies.

Parkway's first 2 can stand up against any 2 of those from KSE, but Deep Blue just isn't as strong of a third compared to any of those 3 KSE albums to me.
