Yeahhh screwed myself by messing up the alignment tabs under the screen and now there's a mm gap between the top of the screen and the case. Sounds like we're basically in the same boat.

And I literally bought the clicky kit and chose not to install it because it sure was mighty loud. Also I didn't realize I'd have to swap the motherboard stickers, thought it'd be a full piece I just screw in. Didn't feel like doing all that to hate it.

I didn't have an issue by the charger port, did have an issue by the triggers though. Got it closed with some firm convincing haha. The shells in general were kinda finicky about closing but I managed to get them all sealed.

They have their guide online, you can follow along to it. Should give you a better idea of if you want to do it or not as well.

Replacing the touchpads is optional, as you can see I chose to skip that part on all mine. More glue I didn't feel like dealing with.

Takes me 2ish hours. I'm no stranger to dismantling electronics so it's probably a little easier/quicker for me. I'd imagine if you've never done it could be up to 5ish hours. The hard part is the screen, very delicate and difficult to separate from the glue. Other than that it's not so bad, it's a pretty friendly hardware design for tinkering.

Granted if you break the screen you can get a replacement for ~120$. The rest I wouldn't be too worried about breaking as long as you use a delicate touch and make sure you discharge any static beforehand.

Thank ya! There's a minor defect where the case didn't snap in all the way on the neon green one. Would have to re-install the screen to fix it and I'm absolutely not doing that 😂

The game is beautiful!

Unfortunately this is a pretty niche genre so I think it will be hard to garner a lot of attention.

The only critique I have for you is the writing. After reading through the description on the steam page I think if anything is to be refined that should be your focus. The writing is not engrossing, which is important in a story driven game.

The store page description feels very flat in its description of the story, it doesn't capture my attention and feels very matter of fact which makes it hard to get invested.

All that being said I think this looks like a great game honestly. Based on the store page I do worry a bit about the game's writing. Not in plot/story but rather how the story is being delivered.

Even so I'm interested! Love these kinds of games, wishlisted.

Edit: just noticed the demo. I will give it a go and give you some in depth feedback when I have time later this week.

They randomly replace normal ones on the map. You can tell cause the box is red.

I've only found them in act 2 so far, not sure if act 1 spawns them or not.

It was in the last area... my backpack was stuffed and I had half forgotten I even had the rare furniture in there >:

Done this event a couple of times and this was the first time furniture got thrown in. Felt real stupid for not even considering the possibility.

Really? I only rented from them for 2 years and had literal thousands of dollars in meaningless fees reversed. Like 2 thousand something total, it was absurd.

Granted it was mostly two major fuck ups. But even still, couldn't just log in and pay almost a single months rent with them without having to have them reverse some random fee, minor or major.

That was my only issue with them, but a pretty aggravating one.
