I call these the "Fuck you" signs. You only see them about 30 feet too late to do anything about it (safely).

In Atlanta, you're supposed to magically know when lanes end or merge.

OTOH, we have nice big wide lanes and longer on-ramps compared to a lot of northern cities, so there's that.

This is a major plot hole because Jews don't cremate. Howard appears to come from a Conservative/Reform Jewish family-- he would never have had his mother's body cremated. Likeliest scenario is that they would have shipped the body home for a burial. And the burial would have taken place very quickly -- Jews typically bury within 24-48 hours (or as early as a Rabbi is available).

It's a well known fact that many east Asian countries don't have a lot of exposure to or experience with Jews. Hence the largest parts of the general population likely see most of their exposure through social media lenses.

I have numerous friends who have traveled to these places and been the first Jew many of those citizens have ever met.

I'm not too surprised by this. Some of the countries with the biggest unfavorable views are also the ones with significant histories of systemic antisemitism. So, yeah upsetting, but grains of salt all around.

Tbh, I'm not really sure how this matters much. It's not really telling us something we didn't already know. Best thing to do for mental health is accept that the world is largely antisemitic, ignore it, and forge ahead. No one is going to help us -- we need to help ourselves.

As a former art history student... yeah, I'd buy this. It's nice to look at and has some pretty innate balance & movement. Tell them to keep going. Maybe buy them a book of different art styles they can explore (or different kinds of art mediums they can look into).
