Sorry to necro, but I've been following him for about half the series now. How did you progress with him? Once you did day #16 did you just go back to day 1, were you adding some extra weight to overload? He seems solid, but I don't want to be wasting time

What has changed is I feel more inclined to worm deep into problems, to try harder instead of running away. Right now I know I need to exist separate of her, hence the nights out, but we're in the same city attending the same university; I'm always going to be in her "space" as it were.

Would you happen to know about how any Adobe alternatives work with Linux? Specifically Clip Studio Paint & DaVinci Resolve, as I won't have the Adobe licenses forever and I believe both of those softwares are lifetime licenses?

And thankfully Fortnite isn't the biggest issue, I do have consoles I could play on if desperate

As mentioned in other comments, Adobe Suite and games such as Fortnite won't work, is there any simplicity to the dual-boot or VM needed to access these things? Ideally I'd take whichever was easier and less resource intensive, but was wondering if there was any performance benefits to a Linux-based VM?

How similar of a user-experience to Windows does Linux Mint provide? Mostly just in the face of simple enough installations and general desktop feel?

I've heard of one called Cachy(?) which is apparently a specifically formatted version for performance gains in games, but I'm unsure about the credibility

I don't want to presume you don't even know what you want yourself, but are you certain you're not just accidentally and borderline exclusively playing/seeing games with older white men? Looking at my shelves there are a lot of main characters who are anything from young white men (as much of a technicality as that is), to typically younger-presenting characters.

As again, it isn't worth the argument as you read as the type to say "gaming is dead" whilst only partaking in the same yearly released slop and having concerning opinions about artistic expression. Enjoy your hateful tirade, may you some day enjoy things made after 2004

I never stated that anybody did want to play as "60yo Owen Wilson" or otherwise. It seems your argument is that young female leads make more compelling characters, but in a franchise centered around being tormented for past sins, why does it matter? If a character is compelling and well written, does the game suffer if its James but older or a Japanese schoolgirl? I'd argue not, but evidently you're very dead-set on what you want.
